Texas has rich geographical diversity with mountains, plains, deserts, flower fields and beaches. Texas is one of the beautiful places of United States exhibiting scenic beauty of nature. Texas has a number of museums all over the countryside. This article mainly deals with the description of some of the museums in Texas.

Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History

The Brazos valley museum displays changing and permanent exhibits to promote Brazos alley people’s relationship with the natural environment they lived in. This museum is also known for its various public programs.

Austin museum

Austin museum of art has collections from all around the world. It displays the art of U.S, the Caribbean and Mexico. The Austin children museum is a learning place for children. Antique Sewing Machine Museum

This unique museum is totally dedicated to sewing. The museum has collections of about 150 sewing machines for display. It has collections of some of the old models of sewing machines and the oldest among them is the Wheller and Wilson which are the machines of 1853. Apart from the machines the museum has also the collections about sewing and the tools used for sewing purpose.

The French Legation Museum

This site was actually constructed for the chargé d’affaires in the year 1841. So it served its purpose for the representatives of the French government in the Texas republic. Later in the year 1848 the place turned out to be the living place of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Robertson.

The Museum of Printing History

This museum depicts about the printing history and thus named so. It has displays about writing of the ancient past, antique printing equipment, manuscripts etc. The museum is also known for its collection of some of the rare books. This museum contains some of the printed materials that have historic importance like bible leafs, newspapers of the early period, government documents etc. This museum thus offers an interesting experience for the visitors of Texas.
